UTEP CS Outreach
The team presented a poster for high school students at an outreach hosted by the Computer Science Department at UTEP. The team also demonstrated the prototype to students, parents, and educators. The project gathered interest due to its appealing interface and use of immersive technologies like data science and visualization.
CyberShARE EDHS Outreach
The Sol y Agua team hosted an outreach event for students from El Dorado High School at Cyber-ShARE. The team presented different projects being conducted at the Center, and also demonstrated the Sol y Agua Game prototype to the students. The team also demonstrated Leap Motion software and hardware to explore possible inclusion in the game to aid in the use of immersive technologies.
